Family Dream Sharing

Under the Dream Tree

Cultivating a practice of dream sharing in your family is a wonderful way to create a space for listening and communication between one another that is deep and respectful. Dreams provide pathways toward more creativity and connection with our deeper self, allowing space to explore and communicate with others. The gifts of dreaming can help bring forth more imagination, creativity, spirituality, healing, awareness, innovation and learning.

Dreams have been a source of creative inspiration for artists and invention for scientists. They allow us the space to learn and practice for our everyday lives. Dreams can bring us healing when we most need it, or a warning about something that may be headed our way.

In this workshop, we will share dreams together through drawing, theater, dance, song, poetry and journaling. Learn how to share dreams with your family in a safe supportive circle of dreamers. Learn the Lightning Dream Work Method as a quick and energetic way of sharing dreams together. Share your dreams in a way that respects the dreamer and the dream. Come and explore your dreams and learn how share them with others!

Valley Reed  C.D.T. is a certified teacher of Active Dreaming with popular author Robert Moss and his pioneering approaches to dream work. Chrysalis Healing Arts is her private practice and she teaches classes and workshops on dreaming, and also leads monthly dream groups.  She has been a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams for over 10 years and is a frequent presenter at their annual conferences. In 2001 she was Inspired by her then 6 year old daughter, who requested she create a book for her dream library.  What followed was the story she wrote  “The Crow and the Phoenix” which was based on a series of dreams. It was later turned into a dance she choreographed and performed both nationally and internationally. She has been sharing dreams with her two teenage children at their home in Dallas, Texas since they were preschoolers and they continue to share dreams together.
