​The Conscious Masculine Retreat is a safe and nurturing environment for men to share their hopes, dreams, and pain in the company of other men; to experience deep relaxation, healing and rest. The sacred land of the retreat center naturally contains elements of both grief and joy and plays a important role in the journey to wholeness. 

When men earnestly engage in this process they receive years worth of mental and emotional growth in the short span of a weekend ! Deep friendships and lasting memories are serendipitous by-products.

Set in the beautiful sacred lands of the Choctaw Native Americans and the Kiamichi Wilderness in SE Oklahoma, a weekend retreat for men to go on a guided journey of self discovery. Utilizing the power of myth, poetry and story telling, as a way of healing mind and body, and re-imagine what it means to be a man in the 21st Century.

​Crescent Moon Lodge is off the beaten trail and away from the concrete jungle. A place to gather round the fire pit for drumming and sharing and gazing up at the stars. Explore 8 miles of forested trails on 160 acres, walk the stone labyrinth overlooking the spring fed reflecting pond, sit in the hot tub and soak your cares away, enjoy your morning coffee on the wrap around porch. The 5000 square foot log cabin comfortably accommodates 17 guests in shared lodging. The eat in kitchen is a welcoming place for preparing and sharing meals together and the back porch grill is lit!

​Your Retreat Guide is Hadi Jawad,​ a lifelong activist, story teller, drummer, facilitator of men's circles, poetry groups, peace and justice campaigns, and healer. Initiated into the mysteries of the universe by a wandering Sufi dervish as a young boy, Hadi looks at the world through the prism of mysticism, love of creation, awe and wonder!
