The Spring Equinox opens a portal where dreams of becoming are ready to grow and bloom into our lives. We cultivate our dreams by surrounding them with nurturing rituals, coupled with intentions for dreaming, to grow everyday Magic into our World.
During this retreat, we craft dream rituals by working with the elements to set nightly dream intentions and record dreams upon waking each morning. Your dream journal is a magic book. The Magic grows by weaving dreams with words and meaningful actions, and collaborating with the world behind the world. What you seek is also seeking you.
Like a seed planted in the dark soil, or a stone tossed in the deep Sea, sacred ritual sets in motion our deepest dreams to grow and surface into waking reality through synchronicity, and our ability to dream the future. This interweaving of dreaming and waking realities is a connection to the deeper reality in which we are co-creating our lives from the wisdom of the Soul and the Truth of our being.
Together we create a safe and sacred space to dream within the portal of the Spring Equinox as we embark on embodied conscious group dream journeys, guided by the drum. We learn how to connect to the deeper dream rooted in the Tree of Life and Earth based Wisdom. We navigate non-ordinary reality in connection with animal guardians and ancestral spirits guided by our intentions for wisdom and healing.
The turn of the wheel from Winter to Spring is a point of balance, and a place of new beginnings. We cultivate a practice to incubate dreams each night to bring our intentions into the waking world. Together we share dreams to learn the deeper story coming through for each of us. We are always dreaming, and magic is afoot!
We create a collective dreaming altar with the elements of air, earth, water and fire. We call upon our ancestor spirits, and more than human relatives to guide us into a deeper reality, where the world behind the world is a place of creation for our waking world.
Bring: Dream Journal, blanket to lay on, sacred element offerings such as feather, stone, bone, shells, herbs, wood, flowers, seeds, candles, incense, moon water, spring water, rain water.

Valley Reed, is a certified dream teacher, and experienced dream worker of over 40 years. Her approach to Collaborative Dreaming has been greatly influenced by her dreams and teachers such such as Robert Moss, Bhola Banstola, Dr. Apela Colorado, Jean Campbell, Dr. Patricia Torres, Dr. Danica Anderson, Ten Bears, and Baba Ifayomi.
She honors the ancestors and spirits of the land, including indigenous wisdom paths of the Lakota, Mayan, Aztec, Nepal, West African, Hawaiian, Aborigine, Slavic, Sufi, and ancestral paths of Basque, Celtic, and Scandinavian. Collaborative Dreaming is her spiritual practice and she follows the Celtic Wheel, and Lunar cycles in guiding her dreaming rhythms.
She offers retreats and workshops across the U.S. and internationally, and leads dreamers into liminal spaces of conscious dreaming, connecting them to inner worlds of mystery and soul wisdom, depth healing, and creative inspiration. Her private practice is Chrysalis Healing Arts in Dallas, Texas for 25 years, where she offers embodied holistic healing and dreaming modalities with classes, workshops, retreats, and monthly online women’s groups.
