Dreamweaving the World
Threads of weaving between worlds are what bind us to the waking world and the otherworld. Threads we can follow in Dreaming to sacred designs and patterns that have meaning, and memory, threads of creation and dissolution, threads of dream travel and energetic ley lines and dream lines of the bigger stories held in the land and the stars. Stories that hold us all, big dreams that carry us all through transformation and rebirth. A return to the old wisdom ways of women that are passed on in weaving stories, songs, and dreams into threads of belonging and healing. We are excited to have special guest, Jackie Bullard join us this Spring Equinox to bring her basket weaving skills from the traditional Caddo way. She will guide us in basic skills to weave a basket over the weekend from natural pine needles and grasses, together with sacred items such as tokens, stones, beads, shells, bones to begin to weave your sacred container.

Circle Round for a weekend of Sacred Women’s Rituals at the turn of the Wheel from Winter to Spring. A point of balance when the Earth stirs beneath us and blooms around us and within us. A time of gathering our potency in this place of Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth that has brought so many blessings of healing, connections, and mirth. Crescent Moon Lodge is a special place where I have been blessed to gather Women in retreat for the past ten years to dream ourselves into being, and journey into the unseen world. The land of the first peoples of the Caddo, Comanche, Apache, and Choctaw Nation are honored with gratitude whose spirits and elemental protectors guard these 160 acres. The Spring fed 5 acre pond is a mirror from which beings emerge from the otherworld, and the river that crosses the land holds prayers to the Great Mother who we great upon arrival and bless the water spirits. The labyrinth overlooking the pond has a boulder and a tree in the center, anchoring womb wisdom. The eight miles of trails give wonder and breath, and the bee tree brings the mysteries of oracle wisdom. The stars at night and Milky Way overhead shine a path home into our dreams. Earth Dreams Retreat is a creative dreaming adventure in collaboration with the community of beings, and more than human relatives we share in this world and the other world.
We plant seeds of intentions with dream incubation to grow our heartfelt dreams into the waking world. We cultivate our dreams by surrounding them with creative inklings and imaginings sown with nurturing rituals coupled with plant allies for potency of place.
During this retreat, we craft creative inspiration with imaginal seeds in art journaling to explore the power of image, and collect dreams with collage, water colors and more. We embody the the elements of dreaming with Earth, Air, Fire, and Water in connection with conscious group dream journeys guided by the drum to connect with animal allies, and spirits of the land for the purpose of grounding our dreams and rooting our intentions in place. We share dreams together in a safe and sacred space and devise creative ways to bring our best dreams to life.
Like a seed planted in the dark soil, or a stone tossed in the deep Sea, sacred ritual sets in motion our deepest dreams to grow and surface into waking reality through synchronicity, and our ability to dream the future. This interweaving of dreaming and waking realities is a connection to the deeper reality in which we are co-creating our lives from the wisdom of the Soul and the Truth of our being.
We learn how to connect to the deeper dream rooted in the Tree of Life and Earth based Wisdom. We navigate non-ordinary reality in connection with animal guardians and ancestral spirits guided by our intentions for wisdom and healing.
We create a collective dreaming altar with the elements of air, earth, water and fire. We call upon our ancestor spirits, and more than human relatives to guide us into a deeper reality, where the world behind the world is a place of creation for our waking world.
Bring: Dream Journal, blanket to lay on, sacred element offerings such as feather, stone, bone, shells, herbs, wood, flowers, seeds, candles, incense, moon water, spring water, rain water.
